How to practice Benevolence:
Sit down and look through your budget, look through your checkbook, look through your bank statement and see what you can give up in order to give to the needs here within our church.
It will be a sacrifice, but it is the sacrifice that pleases God.
How to practice Unity:
This is a simple question to answer…are you currently serving the church in some capacity? – if not, find a place: Bible study teacher, nursery, youth, kitchen, maintenance and grounds, music, sound system and Sunday morning presentation, web design and social media…
Whatever your talents are, I can find a place for you.
How to practice Ignition:
Practice your own personal spiritual disciplines – Read your Bible and do a devotion, pray alone and together with your family on a regular basis…
Do not come here to worship. Come here worshiping.
How to practice Love:
Keep God’s love before you at all times…that will naturally turn into your motivation to love others.
How? John 3:16; 1 John 3:16; 1 John 4:7-12
Put them on your phone, hang them on your wall…figure out a way to “write them on the tablet of your heart.”
How to practice Devotion:
Put “meeting together” on your calendar…make it a priority.
